Quick catch-up: the Milani community pledged funds toward her care, but getting the crypto donation through the nonprofit process has taken longer than expected. Today Tanganyika publicly acknowledged the pledge and confirmed they’re still working through receiving the $15K we’ve donated so far. 💜🦒

🦒💜 A QUICK NOTE TO THE HERD

We know everyone is excited. We are too.

And something important to remember: many members of the Tanganyika family follow this page. They see your posts. They see the excitement. They see a Herd of people who came together because one little giraffe captured our hearts. 💜

But there is an important distinction we all need to respect:

The funds have not reached Tanganyika yet.

Until the donation actually arrives and is received by the organization, they cannot acknowledge it as a completed donation. That’s not them ignoring us, rejecting us, or failing to appreciate what the Herd has accomplished. It’s simply responsible nonprofit accounting and communication.

So please don’t mistake silence for rejection.

We’ve done our part. The funds have been raised. The process is moving forward. Now we patiently wait for the final step — the moment the donation actually reaches Tanganyika.

Until then, keep supporting Milani. Keep sharing her story. Keep celebrating what this community accomplished together.
