@Wickedkarma1776 By population ratio, black people are more than 2x as likely to be killed by police. Of the people who are killed by police blacks are 1.5x MORE LIKELY to be unarmed than whites people.

@Wickedkarma1776 Approx. 61.5% of the population is white & 12.7% of the population is black. Black people are called “minorities” bc they are a minority of the population. It makes sense that more white people are killed by police... There are more white people in the country than black people.

@Wickedkarma1776 Additionally, we the taxpayers pay for police brutality. Cities pay millions in legal fees and settlements of police misconduct lawsuits using tax money. That doesn’t seem fair to me, doesn’t it?

@Wickedkarma1776 In Baltimore, for every dollar spent on police, 55 cents is spent on schools. Increased rates of education are correlated with lower crime. So, if we are using common sense, by reallocating funds to education services crime will go down over time and quality of life goes up.
