Day 1 of the Nature-Based Beekeeping Summit wrapped up successfully at the TUNADO offices.
We brought together representatives from four African countries to chart a clear path for promoting #NBB through impactful video content.

One of the participants with physical disability in the project #MBWPwDs - Making Beekeeping Work for #PwDs shows us some of his colonized locally woven hives in his apiary. Having easy mobility in his apiary has been his biggest challenge but has since solved it by
Diversification in coffee farming means bringing new products to the farm so that coffee isn’t the farmer’s sole source of income. Intercropping it with viable crops, and beekeeping not only brings in extra income for farmers, but also protects crops from natural diseases.
Beekeeping for PwDs is an essential part of our inclusion strategy as TUNADO..thanks to Jinja district LG and the @KingNadiopeIV 's people for the good cooperation. @BeesForDev
We have successfully conducted the project Inception meetings for #MBW-PwDs (Making Beekeeping Work for #PwDs ) in Jinja District. Our meetings included the district officials, leaders for PwD identified groups, and sampled out a few farmers already in the trade. @BeesForDev
