This woman was involved in an accident in Zimbabwe.
She needed urgent medical care, including a cast, but the material was not available.

So, she was given a cardboard box with tape at a major hospital in Zimbabwe.
This is the same country where the government has been paralysed because the president wants a third term.

All of Zimbabwe’s six central hospitals need only US$60 million a year to run smoothly without any shortages, but the money is looted by criminal cartels controlled by the president.

Today the hospitals struggle to get pain killers, thousands of Zimbabweans are dying daily unnecessarily from easily treatable diseases, tragic!

°No police report for Council’s looted US$4.5 seven years later
°Harare Quarry, has been operating in secrecy, failing to declare its revenue, profits or dividends to the council since 2018.
°Harare City Medical Aid Society bought a house in Ruwa, Mashonaland East, for a staggering US$1 million.
°Harare CCC councillors went on a spree of invading and parcelling out more than 5 000 illegal plots ahead of 2023 harmonised elections.
°Unqualified and clueless councillors
°Over 340 illegal housing cooperatives were hurriedly regularised ahead of 2023 harmonised elections
°Council rejected a HIT developed US$350 000 ERP system in favour of a US$51 million foreign alternative
°Harare City still using a memory flash to store financial records

°Council losing US$70 million annually in uncollected revenue
°Council only collected US$100 from tuckshops in 4 months
°About 100 head of cattle are illicitly removed from the city’s paddocks every month

A surgeon in Harare informed me that there is serious rationing of oxygen in government hospitals.

He told me that two days ago, patients from Parirenyatwa were being sent to Sally Mugabe Hospital, and yesterday, Sally Mugabe Hospital cancelled theatre cases because it was also low on oxygen.

Imagine the two biggest public hospitals without oxygen—more Zimbabweans will die just like that.

I wrote to Zimbabwe’s health ministry permanent secretary, offering to use my own money to assist these two hospitals with oxygen so that surgical operations could go ahead, as the surgeon said people would die.

He told me that the money was there but that its release to the gas company had been delayed.

I do not understand how the Ministry of Finance allows this life-threatening idiocy of delaying the release of money when it knows that people will die.

As Zimbabwe’s major supermarkets shut down, this is what is replacing them, vendors selling goods in the streets and little wooden shops called tuck shops.

This has been caused by the massive looting of public funds by criminal cartels run by the Zimbabwean tyrant, Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Thousands of Zimbabweans are losing jobs as the retail grocery market collapses due to a bogus local currency put in place by Mnangagwa as an instrument to loot public funds! It is a mess!
