It is with great sadness that we report a person has been hit by a train between East Croydon and Gatwick Airport. All lines are blocked between these stations whilst the emergency services work to deal with this incident.

Officers, including armed officers, are currently on the scene at Church Road in Horley, after receiving reports of a large fight taking place where knives were reported to have been seen.
Update: Church Road is now fully re-opened and officers have left the scene. An investigation is ongoing, so if you witnessed the incident, please contact us quoting P22193333 via DM or by calling 101. Thank you for your patience.
