Study (N=200 courses) tested 3 interventions to reduce gender bias in student evals, but none were effective. "Women who were tough graders or taught large classes received more criticism than men with the same grading style or class size." @kimelsesser

There are so many incredible resources put together by RAs, grad students, and organizations like @psychinout and @NextGenPsych that got me through the nerve wracking but rewarding post-bacc job search this time last year. I compiled a list of these resources along with some resume + cover letter + interview tips drawn from my CareerLab days. https://t.co/or87WXqGV3

In 2022-23, there was a ~$20,000 gender pay gap among faculty across all U.S. academic institutions and ranks. Disparities are significant at all career stages, but most pronounced at the full professor rank. https://t.co/86XlzeG7LT
As we kick off Black Maternal Health Week, it is important to remember that Black women are 3x likely to die from pregnancy-related complications that are preventable, than their White counterparts.
We must advocate for equitable access to quality prenatal care, culturally-competent support, and systems that prioritizes the well-being of Black mothers and their babies.
Together, we can strive for a future where every woman receives the care and respect she deserves.
