@egi_nupe My Dad wish someone live in the house with him but, it's not just possible this time around, reason I still go to his house everyday to see him. Thou, he still play around his two wives but, I see him everyday that's enough I can do, my house is not far from his.
So, angel was a young girl who was 17 at the time she reached out to me.
She was in an inappropriate relationship with a 30 year old man, and it started when she was 16.
Her mother knew about the relationship and encouraged her to keep up with him.
This was so because there was no money to train her in school, and the man wanted to be taking advantage of her, by sleeping with her, and in return, he would be helping her financially.
I told her to cut off that relationship and that we would see her through school, and she did.
This October, she'll be turning 20 and now she's a graduate.
She doesn't know me, doesn't know what I look like, and if I see her in real life, I won't even recognize her.
I am using her story to warn you old men who like to take advantage of young girls because they are from poor homes.
If you see a young girl and you like her, help her because you want to do it for God, and not because you want to be sleeping with her or marry her.
Most of you that have tried it, got burned in the end.
And you're living in regrets.
And if you're not careful, that your "philanthropy" may ruin your life.
Because that young girl that you think you can control with money, will surely revolt one day.
Go and find a lady who doesn't need you for survival, to date or marry, so that she can invest in you while you invest in the future of both of you.
End.
Being a parent, husband and wife, is one of the most amazing blessings that God gave to mankind.
But as much as it's a blessing, it comes with enormous responsibilities.
Raising and taking care of other humans from cradle till they become adults and independent, is a call of nature.
And God never wished for one human to do it alone.
God's plans were for us to do so under the umbrella of marriage, and raise your children as man and wife.
It's a journey, and a daunting one.
For you young and single people, you must learn that to make the journey worthwhile, you should choose right and lay a good foundation for your relationship.
Marriage is a school that you should never graduate from until you die.
In the conventional schools, we take the lessons before getting the certificates.
In marriage, you get the certificate before taking the lessons.
End.
A man can block opportunities that may make his wife richer than he is.
It is not because he doesn't like money, nor because he's envious of his wife's success.
He does it because he wants to save his marriage & his wife from self-destruction.
He knows who he married.
End.
Men are the careless romantics.
Women are pragmatic survivors.
Everything in a woman's life is about herself.
Men love women.
Women love money.
Men are in love.
Women are in business.
As a man, you have to take care of yourself, otherwise, you will exist & die as a glorified slave.
@the_beardedsina@FirstBankngr Haaa doc, first bank is better ooooo, Polaris bank will frustrate someone life and you will be questioning yourself. I don't relay on commercial banks again.
Fintech all the way.
Today, being my son's 10th birthday, I called him into my room. After praying for him, I spent over 30 minutes talking with him.
My wife walked in, and I told her to leave the room because I wanted to speak to my son alone.
I told him many things that I know he will not understand, but I know he won't forget them when he becomes an adult man.
My son remained completely silent throughout. I could see that he was quite uncomfortable, fearing that I was angry with him from the tone of my voice.
It wasn't the usual soft daddy's voice, but a firm one without any high pitch.
I told him to be looking into my eyes as I was speaking and that he should use his two hands to pull his ears.
Finally, I told him that no man would ever wish for him to be better than them, except I, his father.
And that he must make sure that he protects his elder sister and respects his mother.
This is what my late father did to me when I turned 10. By then, I had no mother in sight and received no birthday wishes, love, or care from her.
Anytime I just wish to think about my life, the words of my late father always play in my mind.
They always serve as guides, and quite a lot of them, I have used them to teach here.
It's always easier to remember what you were told or warned not to do as a child than when you're an adult.
Many things my late father said at the time didn't make much sense to me.
But today, they do.
So this is why I chose today to speak with my son in a way I never have before.
Lastly, I told him that he would make mistakes in life, but that I'll always be there to support him, helping him stand up and become a better person.
After I was done, he hugged me and went back to his PS5.
Thank you all for your best wishes and prayers for him.
End.
Let me advise those of you young people in the corporate world.
If you have a colleague that both of you were mates in rank or position, and you were very close, and that colleague of yours later becomes your boss.
Do not say because you were once mates in position, then you think you can interact with him or her the same way.
Respect the authority that he or she is presently occupying and keep your distance.
Wait to see if he or she would still want you to be closer, before you know how to interact with them officially.
Your bosses take key decisions for the firm, even if that decision may affect you.
They have meetings that you're not privileged or qualified to attend.
If you keep trying to interact with that colleague simply because you were once close, you'll be shocked.
Where they're making decisions that may affect you, your once close colleague may throw you under the bus.
Especially if you work in a structured environment, where meritocracy is recognized over familiarity.
Your colleagues are mostly not your friends.
All of you are earning salaries just to get by.
Do your job diligently, so that your once close colleague that was at your level, will not be seen as trying to use his or her position to favour you unduly.
I didn't write this posts for illiterates or ignorant or entitled persons.
End.
She may not be wrong in the logical sense.
The first 5 years of marriage is always the toughest on both sides.
You as a man, should after 5 years, have learnt better ways to lead your wife and learn that a blind husband is a good husband.
If she have not caught her cheating, continue your marriage.
My first 5 years in marriage was tough, despite dating my wife for 9 years.
It's not everything that a woman says that you must take too seriously.
Ask your father if he's still alive, or ask men who have stayed longer in marriage.
