And we decided to treat ourselves to an ice cream at Cock Law Burn before the final stretch which was accompanied by music and dancing. We got back to Spittal at around 16:30 after covering 18.5 miles and raising £2010.”

A huge thank you to Scott Capes and his team of walkers who recently managed to raise £2010 for Horse Time, here are his own words.

“On the morning of the 6th of June 5 of us set out from Spittal in Berwick upon Tweed to walk along the coast to the Holy Island causeway and back

As we got to the causeway we were met by 2 members of Horse Time who had taken time out from their day to take pictures of us at the half way point.
A quick 15 min break and we were back on the move for the return journey and once again everyone remained in good spirits

Tea Shed and Garden Update

Fiona, Vince and Patsy have been very busy helping Stuart do all the last bits of work to the tea shed.

Tea Garden Update

This week Fiona and Nikki had a visit from Lynda who is from Berwick Garden Centre.

Lynda was delighted to be asked to help with plants etc for the garden and came up with an amazing combination of annuals and perennials.

She even put them where they were best to be planted.

A massive congratulations to this wonderful group of individuals who recently completed a six week programme of Resilience and Regulation Workshops.

The weekly workshops included both group theory sessions and one to one non ridden sessions with a therapist and a horse.

The workshop programme was very successful, showing an average percentage decrease of -40 for anxiety, -45 for depression and -30 for trauma symptomology.

And Stuart is being very busy insulating, plaster boarding and roof fixing our tea shed. It's all go here at Horse Time.

Latest arrivals for the tea garden this week, a rustic bench from Robertsons Timber at Charlesfield, and a patio set from Anna Standing.

Nikki and Fiona have started making a patio area, spray painting the garden furniture and with the help of Vince putting up the fence panels.

We are also extremely happy that Stuart has started fixing the roof as well as insulating, and plaster boarding the inside.

Jonny from Yesss Electrical has supplied everything we need for power, and yesterday Jewsons dropped off fence panels and have wood for a ramp still to come.
