Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) was founded by leftist Islamists to oppose the western-backed Pahlavi, and participated in his 1979 overthrow. Khomeini barred MEK afterwards. MEK was implicated in multiple bombings, including that of Americans, and remained an openly armed group until 2003.

Since they got de-listed as a terrorist organization in 2012 on procedural grounds, MEK and their fronts have been actively recruiting US politicians selling themselves as a moderate alternative to Khomeini. But RAND Corporation says MEK meets the qualifications for a cult, citing criteria such as forcing their members to work 16+ hour days and forced divorces.

Polls of the Iranian-American community shows that they do NOT accept Rajavi, MeK's leader, as legitimate, with a 46-point net disapproval - numbers nearly as bad as the existing regime.

• Two-year permit: $35 from Marine Board or $37 via ODFW.
The state says all this money goes into two funds run by the Oregon State Marine Board: the Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Fund and the Waterway Access Fund.

They’ve handed out over $4.6
million in grants for these issues since 2021.

Look, we’re already taxed to death in this state, and anytime folks ask for a real independent audit of where the money actually goes, it gets ignored or slow-walked. Time to say enough is enough.

They say it’s about stopping animal cruelty, but here’s what it actually does:

• Bans all hunting and fishing — licensed or not. Turns them into animal ab*se under the law (strips every legal protection)

• Makes trapping illegal

• Shuts down commercial dairy and meat production

• Reclassifies normal breeding practices for food animals as se*ual ass*ult crimes

• No exemptions for Oregon Tribes

We’re talking 330,000+ licensed hunters and their families, another 500,000 anglers, and 37,000 farms & ranches that would get wiped out — along with all those jobs.

This isn’t just about sportsmen.

It’s a massive overreach that hits rural Oregon hard, discriminates against Tribes, and will drive up food costs for every Oregonian.
