Makes me glad gay guys have a much stricter cultural aversion to snitching. A mom I played tabletop games with once mentioned her son loved twilight after I joked about it being crack for women, and I rolled a perfect saving throw on my (awful) gaydar immediately redlining
a few months before i came out my mom invited me to hang out with her and her trans girl coworker and i was told recently that right after that happened she told her โyk ur son is totally transgender rightโ
@direYGO A lowkey underrated part of this story was how itโs hard to tell if he really is just a fat fuck who eats other peopleโs food without thinking or if he knew the sphagetti was just emotional blackmail and ate it to spare his friend the psychic damage
As a rule of thumb, you can generally tell which Nintendo fans are worth listening to by how many likes they got on Twitter after posting "As a rule of thumb, you can generally tell which Nintendo fans are worth listening to or not solely off their opinion on Fire Emblem"
@dawnofthediscs Honestly this looks cool as fuck, you should offer this cover variant for all your future releases, at least as a fun inside joke for $5 or something like that
@eternalnamor@lexcroucher LA developed such a bad reputation for using any justification to give out jaywalking tickets, they had to pass a state law that decriminalized jaywalking just to get them to stop
I realize this is almost autistically besides the point she's making, but there's so many interesting layers to this:
1) Video games did not invent the term HUD, but it is the place you will likely hear the term most.
2) While gamers/game designers love to call things HUDs...
...you could technically argue that most games don't feature HUDs, because putting shit on a screen doesn't just make it a HUD.
3) Cyberpunk calls your UI a HUD because you literally have cybernetic eyeballs - it's really is a HEADS UP display because it's baked into your vision.
