Oh man - does anyone except the @Canes and @GoldenKnights friends and families even care about the @NHL@StanleyCup finals anymore-worst possible tandem of teams. Boring trap artists that flood the neutral zone… woo hoo what a final thay will be🙄full credit they made it but 🤮
Proud of the assembly at #ARA2026 for unanimously passing an emergent resolution to direct the @albertateachers to defend the universal right to public education for all against the upcoming referendum by @YourAlberta that seeks to limit these services based on immigration status
Proud of our @stalbertlocal73 delegation at #ARA2026 for proposing a very important emergent motion regarding increasing the @albertateachers social media capacity
Great news today from the @ATRFPension board at #ARA2026
For the second year in a row , the plan is 102% paid by existing investments - no increase to contributions this year for teachers!
@schill_dawg of @albertateachers speaking in opposition to Section 33 of the Cdn Charter being used by the @UCPCaucus to affect the safety of transgender youth in schools”AB teachers will continue to stand together to protect the rights & freedoms guaranteed in democracy”#ARA2026
Proud of the #ARA2026 assembly for passing opposition on the part of the @albertateachers to Bill 25 unanimously ! There is no need for this legislation - it is a fabricated problem ! Rescind the bill @UCPCaucus !
So happy to see Dr Duane Donald receive his honorary membership into the ATA at #ARA2026 - I have had the honour of receiving his teachings directly through a River walk. His humble teachings from the heart are so powerful - it would be hard to find a more deserving recipient!
Thank you to Meaghan Parisian from the Alberta School Councils Association for the gratitude shared from parents of Alberta for the “work we do , have done and continue to do” with our students #ARA2026
#ARA2026 opening with a strong message of solidarity from CTF President Clint Johnston “ you are not alone- as a unified profession we can make waves that elected officials cannot ignore”
@TheBreakdownAB@BarbLarochelle Where to start in unpacking this “logic”? They are experts in their field sure but as a parent I’d also like them to be experts in class mgmnt, age specific brain development, Individual program plans and diverse learners, etc… like their current teachers in a full program are!
How can the @UCPCaucus do this without going against the Canada Health Act ? Surely the feds can step in here soon to save us from a fully tiered system ?
“Alberta is expanding access to private health care in the province by introducing changes that would allow Albertans to access diagnostic screening and testing services without a referral.”
Berta.
Soon to be incidentaloma capital of Canada.

@ABDanielleSmith Um couple of things here: taxes may not increase but literally(not figuratively) everything else costs more because of your governments policies on privatization and fees for services previously public not to mention all the absolutely wasted billions on useless programs-beat it
@ABDanielleSmith@UCPCaucus will not be happy until they produce a generation of students who have zero civics education or ability to question anything! We teach perspectives in school so that ALL voices can be heard not just some voices. That’s not ideology, that’s Canadian diversity at work!
@essehjay@CoryBMorgan@RiseOfAlberta You’re welcome to leave, but you can’t have any of the land Alberta sits on it is firmly part of Canada. 3.5-5% of the population backed by foreign interests do not make even close to a majority of the province-have your referendum at HUGE wasted cost to the rest of us I guess
I have serious concerns as a Social Studies teacher in Alberta today … the grade 10 curriculum I am currently teaching is globalism , grade 11 is nationalism , grade 12 is literally “ideologies”! We need informed citizens with critical thinking skills - that scares @UCPCaucus
@fcalendardotnet Hoorah for you - another small venue filled up - booked out the community hall eh ? Bravo - Edmonton has a population of 1.2M and you filled a local community hall - yup you sure have a lot of support 🙄good grief !
@RiseOfAlberta Small venue , rural community , UCP seat
Notice there are zero rallies planned in urban centres in Edmonton
This may be a “huge” crowd in the eyes of the separatists but the lonely 3 car convoy I saw at West Ed Mall yesterday is more indicative of the “movement”… feckless!
