We have made significant steps in addressing the ongoing threat of organized auto theft in our communities, including the expansion of our Commercial Auto Crime Bureau, one of the largest of its kind in Canada. These combined efforts have led to more arrests, charges, and recoveries than ever before. While there is still more work to be done, we remain committed the fight against auto theft.

@Bill_Morneau We’re smarter than this.....we see right through it. By the way, assault rifles aren’t the problem in Canada. Illegal hand guns are but I suppose the use of the phrase “assault riffle” has more shock factor. Why can’t we just have honest politicians??

@Bill_Morneau Funny how this is coming just prior to an election. Didn’t your government just have four years to put laws in place to protect Canadian citizens? This is such a political move it wreaks. You must not think much of the citizens your so concerned about protecting..all of a sudden.
