@HallmarkiesPod @nibewe So I was correct in my original guess (from 9/14) about the leads being Ashley and Niall, Nina? I've been tracking Hallmark movies in production for many years, so I have learned to pay attention to clues, and also know which leads are bogus.
@HallmarkiesPod @nibewe I also love the little hints Nina dropped about the leads for her latest Christmas movie. I could be totally wrong/way off base & I don't have any inside knowledge of it, but based on the clues she gave, the first names that popped in my head were Ashley Williams & Niall Matter.
@GreggMcBride I sure did! What did you think? I laughed out loud when the little green bundle of joy reached out & closed his own pram. He is a self-sufficient child. This trailer seemed short compared to others I have seen for other shows, so I expect a longer one sometime before 10/30.
@mercy_lyman @michelleRbenson@HallmarkiesPod Follow Me to Daisy Hills & Romance in the Air were filmed in 2019. Hallmark acquired them this year, presumably to fill some holes in the schedule. Love in the Forecast was filmed early this year, and, while it wasn't made by Hallmark, I think it was always intended for Hallmark.
@HallmarkiesPod I'd love a show about Hallmark's various angel movies, even if they've been covered separately before, i.e. Christmas Magic; A Season for Miracles; Angels & Ornaments; the 2 Mrs. Miracle movies & also Mr. Miracle; A Heavenly Christmas; Christmas at Cartwright's; Angel Falls, etc.
@BeccaTwoPoint0 @hallmarkchannel@lulahinthesky@jaedalilymiller We'll be seeing Wes Brown in a new Christmas movie soon -- he's paired up with Jessy Schram, so I would imagine they'll be singing in it!
@GreggMcBride Since it's essentially summer or 'summer lite' here in SoCal for 80% of the year, it's perfectly reasonable to declare that Fall starts when the first signs of Halloween candy or autumnal coffee creamer hit the store shelves -- so, in other words, Fall began in June this year.
@GreggMcBride Baby Yoda returns! One of the few redeeming things about this terrible year! And now he can be shown in the promos -- they don't have to keep him hidden. I will be one of the crazy ones, up at midnight on 10/30, constantly refreshing the Disney+ page until Chapter 1 appears.
@ForceofLightEn1 Yeah. I can buy that there were reasons to revamp a trailer - since Disney/Lucasfilm didn't need to have it ready for Celebration anymore, & could take more time to tweak it. BUT I don't buy that Disney is suddenly having problems with Season 2 now, this late in the game.
@cedricmagnol The most likely time would have been in Sept. (before the start of Fall Harvest). But it's not on the schedule, & Christmas movies begin on Oct. 23rd. So unless it premieres on the W Network in Canada first, it doesn't appear to be airing in 2020.
@BrynDonovan I love so much music from the '70s - both from one-hit wonders & from established artists w/ many albums. I can't even narrow it down to just a few. I will say that "Afternoon Delight" (Starland Vocal Band) was a hit when I was very young & I didn't really 'get' what it meant!π€£
@Destined627@WaitNPumpkin The two in Sept. are acquired movies that Hallmark picked up after they were shot, so they may not be very Fall-ish if they weren't intended to be Fall movies to begin with. We'll see. I think "Sweet Autumn" will be the most Fall-ish out of the 5 movies - how can it not be?π
Hallmark Channel's Fall Harvest page has been updated. https://t.co/wXpWQhLTNj There are 5 new movies:
"Love at Daisy Hills" & "Love at Look Lodge" are acquired.
"Country at Heart"
"My Best Friend's Bouquet" (FKA "Neverbrides")
#5 is not listed, but see my 8/15 tweet below...
I just caught a glimpse of Andrew Walker & Nikki DeLoach in the Hallmark Channel Fall Harvest promo (which mentioned new movies). While they have not filmed it yet, I am going to guess that we might just see them in "Sweet Autumn," directed by Gary Yates. It's filming soon!
@Candi12301@awonderfulmovie I'm so glad there will be a good variety of new Christmas movies this year, & Fall Harvest movies too. Even if Hallmark could not quite get 40 new Christmas movies on the air (as planned), they've already filmed a lot of them, w/ more filming soon, during a challenging time!
