NI-KIâs mom said that the most difficult era for her was during âI-LANDâ! âčïž
đ€: During the I-LAND period, Sensei Mai was having a bit of a hard time mentally, (she) couldnât help but feel worried (after all)âŠ
đ: Well, back then it was really hard. The most difficult moments when raising a child are when theyâre babies and when they have to make life decisionsâŠ
đ: As parents, you think about which path will make this child the happiest. You canât simply say, âDo it this way!ââŠ
đ: Being a parent is pretty hard during those momentsâhow to support them, how to advise them, etcâŠ
đ„: âThe most difficult time for me (since I came to South Korea) was when I was a trainee, and there was no air conditioning in my room where I was staying. It was so hot during the summer that I had to call my parents.â
đ: âI want to buy air conditioning, a desk, and a refrigerator for my 14-year-old son who is living abroad. During the summer, he stays in a room at 36°C without air conditioning. He is working hard, living alone abroad to fulfill his dreams. If I get money, I will use it for my son.â
đ: âYou still havenât gotten rid of the habit of taking off your pajamas while you sleep⊠hahaha. Stop doing that because youâll catch a cold hahaha. It made me laugh so much hahaha.â
đ: âHeâs still a child. I want to be by his side and support him on whatever path he chooses. I believe in him, and I will do my best as his mother to take care of him and look after him. Please take good care of him. đâ
đ„: âWhen I saw my parents, I really wanted to tell them that I was going to debut, and since they raised me until today so that I could promote with ENHYPEN, I wanted to thank them.â
đ„: âFrom the very beginning, my parents have always supported me. They never opposed me even once. So Iâm filled with nothing but gratitude toward my parents.â
đ„: âAnd to someone Iâm very grateful to⊠my parents! Theyâre here today too. Because my parents are here, Iâm very grateful that I was able to perform in front of them. I donât know exactly where theyâre sitting right now, but thank you for coming all the way from Japan. Iâll be a son they can be proud of.â
đ„: âDad, Mom⊠I know Iâve caused you a lot of trouble, but from now on, Iâll make it up to you through my performances. Thank you for everything, always. Iâll work hard to become an amazing son. I love you.â

my therapist told me:
"if you're an anxious person, do everything for fun. go to a job interview for fun. exercise for fun. start a blog for fun. anxiety feeds on importance. don't treat everything like a life-or-death situation."
and then it all made sense.
