Ni has many ideas on one path.
Ne has many ideas on disparate paths. Ne seeks to briefly touch disparate paths for the sake of broader exploration while Ni instead seeks to make a deep exploration in one.
In observations, what gives meaning relies on inner content. They can be subjective experiences, concepts, vague images, even the observation of "feelings" (e.g. sensations, emotions, instincts). Introverted functions integrate these into one's observations
Introverted functions can be stubborn but intricate because they look internally. It is a partially completed jigsaw puzzle, and you do not constantly question if the existing pieces are wrong, but make new advancements based on what you've already built.
Se is faster in accumulating data and is more likely to remember things based on momentary relevance. Si may think less about the situation to recall other data (to see what's related, consistent, unusual. These will strike them the most)
Low self-awareness makes you much more likely to be emotionally driven because you are not aware that those emotions are the reason behind your behavior. This is more obvious in immature feelers as they over-rely but still see them while immature thinkers will rationalize them
INJs pay attention to constructing a personally meaningful vision of their life’s purpose through interpreting abstract predictive patterns. They may overinterpret because of an unconscious fear that life has no real meaning or significance beyond mere physical existence
The auxiliary function is the assistant that helps you process information more thoroughly in order to make better judgments or decisions that can successfully meet the goals, needs, and desires of the dominant function
By nature, Fi is an introspective function. Fi itself just gives awareness of an internal world of perfection. What they do with this varies. Many may come off as more stoic or stand-offish, while others may allow some of their feelings to leak through
Intuition is an information gathering trait; and when it is internalized, it leads to a more impressionistic way of storing information. At some point in the past the Ni user observed information that led them to that conclusion. But the details as to why have been stripped away
Fi feels compelled to follow its own values because it erroneously perceives inferior Te to be threatening and invasive in applying unreasonably impersonal standards and not treating people as truly unique individuals
Si-Ne fixates on particular information then acknowledges the variability of it. Dominant Si is more prone to categorizing or structuring the variability of life, whereas dominant Ne tends to appreciate having more routes to mentally play with
The healthy Ti dominant should be willing to consider (and when necessary, cater to) the feelings of the others, actively seek to find a role within the group, and use their perspective to support and strengthen it
(For Ne doms) every ordinary situation in life seems like a locked room which intuition has to open. For a time objects appear to have an exaggerated value, if they should serve to bring about a solution, a deliverance, or lead to the discovery of a new possibility -Jung
(on misuse) Drifting Se uses murky Ni ‘insight’ to excuse meaningless action. Ungrounded Ne uses personal Si details to rationalize messiness. Uncertain Te uses black/white Fi moralizing to justify bad behavior. Insecure Fe uses shaky Ti strategies to obtain false confidence
Dom-inf and aux-tert are existentially interdependent which means that any movement in one function necessarily causes movement in the other. Changing the auxiliary/tertiary doesn’t substantially change dominant function expression or its goals
To maintain a sense of existential stability, Te and Fe prefer to use objectively agreed upon standards for making decisions and tend to dislike when situations/people do not abide by those standards. They need the world to seem stable in order to feel stable
When Ni is the higher function, a person tends to value discovering ultimate meaning, the underlying truth, or the essence of being. Lower Se makes people less able to appreciate raw data without meaning and adapt to the constant flux of life, so these take a more negative tone
Everyone can display the negative tendencies of their dominant. But as most have been ‘leveling up' their dominant function, they are more able to use the lvl 50 or 100 tendencies. Inversely, someone can level up their inferior function, to a lesser degree
Ti desires to feel comfortably confident and self-sufficient in its own knowledge of the world. Ti feels compelled to remain detached and oppose Fe because it believes people’s ‘perspectives’ are inherently ‘biased’ and therefore ‘irrelevant’ knowledge
