In August of 1777, General Washington camped here along the banks of the Neshaminy Creek with 11,000 troops. The Moland House became Washington’s headquarters.

The Moland House kitchen will be filled with the aroma of chocolate at House Tour April 14 from 1 to 4. Susan McLellan Plaisted, Proprietress, Heart to Hearth Cookery will be preparing an 18th century chocolate beverage for guests as they hear about chocolate in the 18th century
