@sarahkahncept@JamieWhistle Actually, the US Supreme Court allows religious families to opt out. The district cannot teach those children about non-nuclear families.
@MWMA_IND@MASchoolsK12 Well the crap that they had literally told students to “look at the picture” to guess at unknown words (Lucy Calkins/Fountas & Pinnell). It was HARMING kids. A year out of district costs$80,000 a year per student. I’m glad they are revamping the curriculum.
The Catholic Church has consistently taught that each human life, from the moment of conception until natural death, is sacred and deserves to be protected. Indeed, the right to life is the very foundation of every other human right. For this reason, only when a society safeguards the sanctity of human life will it flourish and prosper.
A woman and her friend were visiting NYC to do some sight seeing and enjoy the local cuisine, they checked into the hotel for the weekend.
They were gone all afternoon, and they came back around 5:00 pm. When she got back she found a notice saying they were being charged $500 for a smoking fee.
She immediately went downstairs spoke to a manager. He showed her a report that claimed someone was smoking at 4:30pm which was possible because they weren’t even there and have proof.
He told her that there was nothing he could do and that she needs to just dispute it with the bank. Since he refused to heck the cameras or card key logs to prove they weren’t there, is it possible that they the hotel is scamming her and her friend?
@BillAckman@X The problem was bringing in the nephew, which tipped her off, and gave her time to build a case. I’d suggest settling because it’s not worth it.
