Zay Howard got the show started early today, several highlight dunks in a win over the Palmetto City Hurricanes. The 6’5 PG has opened eyes this weekend. Multiple Georgia JUCOs in the mix.

It didn’t take long for Martez Ford to let the whole gym know he’s a straight-up sniper. Deep range and extreme confidence from behind the line, Ford is always looking to pull the trigger. He finished with 20 points this afternoon and helped get GA on the board with the first win of the weekend.

This one took overtime to decide but Team Next Generation came out with the win to give GA its first of the day over NC. Laithen Mitchell hit a huge go-ahead three from the corner with 30 seconds left. That proved to be the final punch.
