It worries me that centralised monitoring is giving false reassurance and encouraging remote care instead of being an extra pair of eyes to the midwife who should be present in the room.

A huge number of NHS workers have to cope with inadequate public transport, insufficient and unsafe parking for cars and bikes, and exorbitant costs

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow It was initially rejected when we moved in 4 years ago. It’s a new build. Challenged again in February and it has taken until October for it to be resolved.

@hazard_leah @cantray_com Agreed. I hate the way it doesn’t let you know if you’ve missed something. Dread to think how much this has cost to implement for each Trust. We still have paper notes as well nowhere to store CTG’s otherwise. Also, our theatre teams use paper as Badgernet is not used by them

@catherineroyuk I don’t agree with you. During Covid most trusts had to suspend antenatal classes which led to a lot of women accessing antenatal education through other means. NHS antenatal classes cover all aspects of care and not just the normal birth ideology as you suggest.
