Still grinning from winning excellent poster presentation award at the UCLA Mitochondria Symposium! Huge thanks to the organizers for hosting such an amazing event - mind blown by the talks & kill the expert sessions! Also shoutout to my awesome team!#UCLAMitochondria
Excited to share our latest research on #NeuronalMetabolism#mitochondria#glycolysis! We've delved into how the glycolytic metabolon assembly on mitochondria, aided by Hexokinase O-GlcNAcylation, boosts the metabolic efficiency of neurons.https://t.co/Tnemxyupyv
I’m excited to share our most recent work, where we show how OGT regulates HK1 activity and mitochondrial function in neurons via O-GlcNAcylation. This reveals a novel link between neuronal metabolism and synaptic transmission. Check it out here:https://t.co/qERqjFQrl7
Excited to share this preprint, proposing pPDH as a inhibition marker (eg, as reverse cFos). Great work by @dong_yang1@yuwang_15@Tianbo_Qi via optogenetics+proteomics by @JohnRYatesIII Please reach out for feedback or help. Easy IF and commercial mAb.

Thanks for organizing this amazing event! It’s such a pleasure to give a poster presentation!#Sanford Burnham Prebys Symposium#2022#Organelle Biology in Health and Disease
Impactful words by @CarolynBertozzi today on how diversity in her trainees enabled creativity, not playing by the rules, and ultimately the work that built the field of bioorthogonal chemistry. Diverse science leads to better science!
Can’t wait to see you guys at the poster session today! Great talk @Richard07154117. Thanks for all Pekkurnaz lab members’ @GulcinPekkurnaz support and NK and Irene Cheung Family scholar for funding Keystone symposium travel @KeystoneSymp#mitochondria#KeystoneConference
A minority opinion but I dislike reviewing MS with figures sprinkled all over the text. How am I supposed to jump to Fig 4? Figures should be at the end with captions. I open the file in two windows and flip between text and figs with alt-tab. Works like a charm.
The powerhouses of a cell, mitochondria, as seen with “instant” structured illumination microscopy (iSIM). They have much more personality than the static bean-like cartoons in your textbook. #CellBiology
Dear fellow cancer metabolism researchers, metabolic flux analysis aficionados, and metabolomics users: We hope you find this book w/ detailed methods a great resource & a must-read. It explores MFA techniques that cover analysis of cellular, organ-level and whole-body metabolism
This review focuses on physiological research connecting results from in vitro & in vivo recording in an effort to utilize these research connections to produce novel, accurate description for corticostriatal processing involved in varied complex functions https://t.co/0Qp582Qinf
We are very excited to present ORANGE!
Open Resource for the Application of Neuronal Genome Editing: a CRISPR/Cas9-based toolbox to label endogenous proteins with fluorescent tags. Our firs preprint: https://t.co/gmQhhwdt1O
