Sarah, 34, and her nine-year-old Cattle Dog, River, were on a cross-country road trip in June 2024 when River disappeared at a rest stop in Wyoming. Sarah searched for three days with no trace - then made a decision. She quit her job and started walking, following the routes she thought River might have taken, checking every shelter, vet, and town within walking distance.
Four months. 1,800 miles on foot. Last week, a Montana shelter scanned River's microchip and she got a match. Sarah was 60 miles away walked for two days to get there.
At first, River just stared, processing, disbelieving. Then the whimpering started sounds staff had never heard from him. When he tackled Sarah to the floor, both of them collapsed and stayed there, River checking her hands and face over and over, like confirming she was real.
Sometimes you walk 1,800 miles over four months across three American states to tell your best friend: "I never stopped looking. I would have walked forever."
A 4-year-old boy whose father left him, stood outside every single day for months waving at strangers... just hoping somebody would say hi back, in North Carolina.
Then one neighbor walked across the street to meet him.
Now an ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD shows up for his soccer games, his swim lessons, his birthday parties.
Roman Butzlaff is 4 years old, from Concord NC, just outside Charlotte.
His mom says he wakes up every single morning excited to say "hi" to somebody. It's the very first thing he wants to do.
But behind that big smile was a hurting little heart. His parents split about a year ago and his dad moved away.
Then a neighbor named Wade Fulgum did the simplest, most powerful thing in the world.
He just walked across the street... and met the little boy who was always waving at him.
And it spread.
Now about a DOZEN neighbors, people who barely knew each other's names, show up for Roman's soccer games.
His basketball games. His swimming lessons. Even his preschool open house. His birthday party guest list was basically a map of the block.
One neighbor said it best: "If the world was like this child, what an awesome, awesome place it would be."
She's been at our shelter since 2013. Eleven years. Every person who met her said she was wonderful. Every person walked past her kennel and chose a younger dog. She stopped coming to the front of her kennel a few years ago. Stopped performing. Made a quiet peace with being where she was." Last Tuesday a veteran came in. He said — "I need a calm dog. I'm still learning how to be still myself." I showed him three dogs. He was putting his jacket on to leave. He stopped outside kennel seven. Luna looked at him from her bed. Didn't perform. Didn't come to the front. Just looked at him the way she looks at people when she decides they're worth seeing. He said — "Can I sit with her?" He sat on the concrete floor at her level. Not the bench. The floor. That was 11am. At 3pm I looked in. He was still there. Her white muzzle was in his hand. Their breathing had synchronized. At 3:15 he came to the front desk and said — "I'd like to take her home. I think we need each other." I excused myself to the back room and sat on an overturned bucket and cried for a long time. He texted me yesterday — "First time I've slept through the night in three years. I think she was saving that for me." She was. Eleven years of saving it. For one Tuesday. For him. Drop a ❤️ for Luna. Share this for every senior dog still waiting for their Tuesday. They're saving everything they have for the right person to walk through that door.
As a German, I was scared to visit America. 🇺🇸
I’d mostly heard negative things in the media and from others.
I came for the World Cup.
I stayed because of the people.
My biggest lesson: experience a country for yourself, not just through headlines.
Thank You America. ❤️
My aunt is the legendary singer Patti LaBelle.
She has performed our National Anthem FOUR different times at major national sporting events.
Not once did she ever sing the Black National Anthem.
She ALWAYS performed "The Star-Spangled Banner."
And tomorrow, she will do it again at the 2026 MLB All-Star Game.
Why?
Because she will be singing to EVERY AMERICAN - not just some of us.
She will be using her beautiful, powerful voice to bring us TOGETHER - not tear us apart.
And I like to think that’s because President Trump is in office and his message is AMERICA FIRST.
Unlike the Democrats who constantly use race to divide us, he reminds us:
We are ONE country.
We have ONE national anthem.
And it belongs to ALL OF US.
So while the NFL platforms the OTHER song at the Super Bowl...
...MLB will celebrate baseball's place in the DNA of OUR COUNTRY by giving us the REAL ANTHEM.
God Bless America!
@sarrah_bellus Fucking Funniest post of the YEAR! Holy Shit that is the fucking best dumbass shit I have seen in a long fucking time. So fucking retarded it's funny! Good one!
@OliLondonTV This mentally ill woman cannot stop making herself look dumber. Just shut the fuck up and be happy without bothering anybody for dumbass reasons no one cares about.
When Carol and Dennis Fitch had to move into assisted living last spring, they found what they believed was a perfect home for their Rottweiler, Bear. Good family. Fenced yard. Eleven miles away. The new family called at 6 a.m. Bear was gone. Carol's granddaughter, Jessica, opened the front door of the old house two hours later and found him there paws bleeding, fur soaked. Veterinarian Dr. Carl Odom said he had likely walked through the night. "Dogs don't rationalize distance," he told the family. "They only understand where they belong."
🔥🚨LATEST: This wrestling coach is being praised for his approach with this young man who was getting emotional during training. “Fatigue makes us cowards.”
Two years ago today, President Trump was shot on stage in Butler Pennsylvania

Donald Trump knows he is putting his life on the line by being President.
He doesn’t need to do this.
God Bless President Trump.
The bus people are upset that Sophie Cunningham is getting an Adidas shoe deal. They are asking why Sophie deserves it.
She is a hot blonde woman in a league full of ugly black lesbians. That alone is enough to warrant a shoe deal. The goal is to sell shoes.
