You forget the part where there’s a bunch of kind crickets on the riverbank yelling at the frog not to trust the scorpion, because he’s a psychopath. The crickets even offer to take the frog to a narrow spot where he can safely hop across.

But the frog doesn’t listen. Why? Because the scorpion offered him power. And the frog loves power the most.

Makes me mourn deeply the hypocrisy and flip-flopping on basic Christian morality since then when just a letter was different in party. And so many close to me who just do not care and do not understand why I am sad.
