Plenty of speculation going on with @HockeySuperLeag potentially divesting of age categories 14/15/18 and @JrProspectsHL adding U17. Will hybrid models (no school) be an option for franchises willing to convert to JPHL?

Was interesting to see ineligible players (U18s) play in the @HockeySuperLeag U15 Prep championships and nothing was done about it by the league. Inquiries by teams were ignored, although the rules are pretty clear. 🤔

Watched a U15 @NorthSeera coach at Millwoods Sunday night that is in desperate need of some mentoring. Constant in game yelling, then verbally abused the officials for not blowing the whistle for an injured player quickly enough, he and his asst coach were ejected. 🥾 #bebetter

Found out that @playhockeyedm is going to work with the the club level teams and find a way to put them back into Minor Hockey Week for 2024, one of the biggest and longest running tournaments in the word. #compete

Lots of discussion this season around the @jroilersorange team issues, which has ultimately resulted in the entire coaching staff being fired. Tough start for a new program.

The @JrProspectsHL Winter Championship Tournament is a great idea and one that should be replicated for @HockeySuperLeag. Create a couple of tournament weekends each season where U15/18 have something to play for. Short term competitions are fun.

The excessive toil around the affiliate and emergency goalie processes is overdue for process simplification. Please take a look at this @HockeyAlberta. A simple online request form and approval process is required. Teams should have access to any eligible affiliate. #makeiteasy

So many missteps along the way for @HockeyCanada It’s disappointing, a text book case of how not to handle an internal crisis gone public. Humility and true leadership are required, the time for significant change is past due.
