HPCVS supports community and voluntary groups in the High Peak area of Derbyshire, through advice, practical services, information, training and funding.
This Volunteers’ Week, we’re celebrating those who give their time to help transform community spaces and make a difference.🌟
Thanks to National Lottery players, £53 billion has been raised for good causes across the UK, supporting volunteers who bring communities together.
To help develop new locality plans across the area, we're inviting residents to take part in online engagement sessions.
The first session takes place on 15 June @ 6pm and is for the Hope Valley area of High Peak.

This week is #VolunteersWeek 2026 and we're thanking the amazing volunteers who are vital to our Bereavement Service.
Anna continues to support people through some of life's hardest times, while Gail and Will recently completed their volunteering roles.
Thank you all.
Taking a mindful moment to enjoy nature in your garden or local park is great for our mental health.
Gardening is also a great way to get away from stresses in our lives and helps boost our mental and physical wellbeing.
During #VolunteersWeek 2026, we're saying a huge thank you to our amazing #Trustees.
They generously give their time, skills and expertise to support us and the communities we serve. Their guidance and commitment make a real difference, and we couldn't do it without them.👏👏👏
Great thanks to the outstanding @Buxton_News for publishing our chief executive's opinion article about the importance of volunteers to our community here in Derbyshire's #HighPeak.
The publication coincided with the start of #VolunteersWeek 2026.
