PD LOMA CATCHES A RUNAWAY BURGLAR! A wanted burglar was spotted by cops in Cleethorpes yesterday. PD LOMA was deployed after the male ran into a residential area and he was soon caught by PD LOMA and arrested! Excellent work.. steak for tea??
This morning two suspects were seen trying to smash there way into a store. Cops arrived and the suspects legged it! Suspects fled into nearby gardens where PD RIGGS located them hiding in a bin store, PD RIGGS detained them until they were arrested by his dad! GO RIGGS!
A busy night for Team 2 Dogs with PD Puck and PD Mirko assisting in five arrests, working pawsomely with our Team 2 Traffic colleagues, which included PD Puck assisting with an arrest for failing to stop/driving offences and PD Mirko challenging a suspect for suspected burglary!
PD FRISKO is all ears at the firearms briefing! Don't be fooled by his puppy charms PD FRISKO needs a round of 'aapaws' as he is the youngest dog in the section but already a proven police dog! Taking blows to his head whilst detaining a violent offender!🤩
PD Gas had a busy night last night supporting Team 4 Grimsby. One Male in custody for multiple burglaries. A vehicle seized for no insurance, another male arrested after an attempt break in. Along with other several positive results.
The local Squirrels group in East Yorkshire enjoyed a visit from the local policing team including T/PD Duke. T/PD Duke will be undergoing his Digi Dog Training next month to be one of the first Digital Detective dogs in force. The squirrels were very lucky to meet him!
Dog units were deployed to reports of a male with a large knife. PD Tom and PD Loma were deployed. they saw a male fleeing the location.
PD Tom was soon to catch up with the suspect who was the detained and arrested, a large kitchen knife was also found at the scene.
Officers were called to reports of two males in balaclavas committing road traffic offences on an electric bike in Grimsby. One fell off the bike and was quickly detained by PC Marsden & PD Yoiko. Bike seized and rider reported for failing to stop, no insurance and no licence.
Lastnight following a FTS with a wanted subject, @HumberbeatRoads successfully stung the vehicle, bringing the FTS to a safe end. Still posing a risk to police & public safety PD Lottie was called into action securing the subject who remains in custody for several offences 🐶🚓🦷
Last night handlers attended a session with @KingstonVetHull for an up skill on animal CPR, bandaging, wound care and general animal related first aid. A very informative and enjoyable refresher for all those involved. #protectingthepooches@Humberbeat#caringforcanines
05/04/2024 PD Puck attended reports of a male armed with a shovel causing damage & threatening members of public. PD Puck & handler suffered injuries whilst dealing with the suspect who has been charged with several offences & remanded. Both are recovering. #zerotolerance 🐶🚓
19/03/2024 the below vehicle FTS for handlers along the A180. After the pursuit concluded the driver rightly gave himself up and was arrested on suspicion of TOMV, FTS, no insurance, disqualified driving, possession of drugs, later tests revealed OPL for drink&drugs. #wisemove🐶

🏆 🎉 Huge Congratulations to Humberside Dog Sections very own PC Lusby and PD Quinta who after a tough few days have won the North East Regional dog trials held by @WYPDogs. They have now qualified for the National competition to be held later in the year.
The pawfect team won the Phase 1 trial for Tracking, and property searching. Phase 3 trial for Obedience, agility and criminal work and the best in class for tracking! The regional champion team will have to make some new space on their shelf!
