This week the team have been working with our @HP_LifestyleYET Beverley Police Cadets to show them a different side to policing the Humber. Couldn’t have asked for a more enthusiastic and engaging group of young people, thanks team!
This week the team have been closely monitoring the River Hull, looking at how we can best meet the needs of the communities in the future and providing reassurance to those who live along the banks. Including a spot of negotiating with some ‘locals’ to allow us through. 🐮

The end of a very busy phase of training thanks to @NPOpsSupport Marine School with our good friends over at @NWPoliceDivers, learning to use @ArrestVessel systems ready for a summer full of planned deployments around the Humber. #tacticalcoxswain
Today has seen the team supporting #AQUAPOL Maritime Security Control Week across the Humber region. Our patrols have been focussing on dock side engagement, lots of boat activity and even a foot patrol in the Humber!
Called to a report of a barge adrift in the River Hull. There was a suggestion that the moorings may have been deliberately released. It may seem humorous, but the consequences are that it could have collided with a bridge.
