Arts & Culture and @HoustonMatters Producer for @HoustonPubMedia. I mostly tweet about movies, games, and the New Orleans Saints. I go by InvictusRex online.
@Komaniecki_R I've enjoyed your series immensely, and it's making me think I need to revisit Hunchback. I don't think I've watched it since the 90s, when I was very much a child who may not have appreciated some of these interesting musical elements.
@carrarium Small people with small minds. Celeste community seems like good folks, and I always enjoy watching y'all's runs! Sorry that some people are so rude.
@MarsScarbo @Komaniecki_R Spot on. I do like some of his music, but most of it just doesn't move the needle for me! And yet, he was a remarkable craftsman, nonetheless.
@Komaniecki_R I discovered Pärt in undergrad when one of my composition colleagues was assigned a talk on him by our professor. Felt like I had discovered something I was desperately missing from my musical knowledge at the time. (Discovered Britten around the same time, too.) Great piece.
@Helexzura I think it either has to be Doom or Halo. Both are major landmarks and represent a genre that is equally as iconic as the three listed already. I might give a slight edge to Halo just because its impact is more recent, but I personally love Doom more.
@KERR0N Any of the SNES or PS1 games would be a good start. Those are the golden age of the franchise and embody what people like best about the series, I think.
