My I/E classes continued with our first lesson on metacognition! Here are two examples of what metacognition (self awareness) means to them:

“This is harder than my actual math!” a 7th grader said… Today, students worked on logic puzzles in I/E. Not only did they have fun, but they also enhanced their cognitive abilities such as memory, attention, and concentration. 💡 @LkwdHarding @LkwdSchools

Telephone Pictionary was a hit in all my I/E classes!😁 Students discussed the importance of clear communication and how different perspectives can lead to diverse understandings. @LkwdHarding @LkwdSchools

My 7th graders did a great job learning new skills (not related to math) such as making origami, training their pet & so much more! They reflected on the process & made connections of what it takes to learn something new can also be applied to learning in school! @LkwdHarding
