The way you talk to yourself can influence how your brain processes emotions, handles stress, and responds to difficult situations.
Neuroscience research shows that inner speech, the silent conversations we have with ourselves, involves brain networks associated with language, attention, memory, and emotional regulation.
When people repeatedly engage in negative self-talk, particularly rumination, they may reinforce patterns of thinking associated with anxiety and depression. Rumination involves repeatedly focusing on distressing thoughts without moving toward a solution.
Brain imaging studies have linked self-referential thinking to activity in regions including the medial prefrontal cortex and parts of the default mode network, a system involved in thinking about ourselves and our experiences.
Researchers have also found that changing how we speak to ourselves can influence emotional responses. For example, using your own name or speaking to yourself from a third-person perspective may help create psychological distance during stressful situations.

Bitcoin appears to be confirming the new cycle here. These events provide a really clear and clean setup.
The upside target is around 30 to 45 days, room for a good advance. It is however not guarantee of a major upside move, but provides an excellent anchoring point because a loss of the recent lows ($79,600) is a level where you would want to get very defensive.
Research shows a 72-hour fast can completely rebuild your immune system.
A study from the University of Southern California has revealed that fasting for 72 hours can trigger a complete regeneration of the immune system.
Researchers found that prolonged fasting causes the body to deplete its glucose and fat reserves, forcing it into a detoxifying state that eliminates damaged cells and toxins.
When normal eating resumes, stem cells are activated, leading to the production of fresh, healthy white blood cells. This immune reboot effect was observed in both mice and humans, particularly in chemotherapy patients who showed improved immune health after fasting cycles.
Lead researcher Dr. Valter Longo explains that during fasting, a gene called PKA is suppressed—this gene must be turned off for stem cells to enter regenerative mode.
As a result, the immune system essentially clears out older, weaker components and rebuilds itself anew. While more research is needed to explore the full range of benefits across organs, the study suggests that fasting could be a powerful, drug-free strategy for enhancing immunity, especially for those with weakened systems due to aging or cancer treatment.

Sauna is my number one longevity intervention after exercise and diet.
A lot of what happens in the sauna overlaps with what happens during exercise, and sauna can even add to the benefits you’re already getting from exercise, including bigger gains in aerobic fitness and reductions in blood pressure.
Then there’s the long-term data - using the sauna 4 to 7 times weekly is associated with a 40% lower risk of all-cause mortality, a 50% lower risk of cardiovascular-related death, and up to a 66% lower risk of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Combined evidence from the physiology, exercise trials, and long-term data is a big part of why I take deliberate heat exposure seriously (and why you should too).
Super tight squeeze on Bitcoin...
IMO if we close above the 21 MA, odds are we go green on the year and test $93k
If we break down, it's open air to 100/200 MAs around $74k
Plans set for either outcome 💪
🇪🇺🇺🇸 Washington spent DECADES begging Europe to pay for its own defense.
Now it might get exactly what it asked for, and it may not like it.
Europe is FINALLY spending. EU countries spent around $461 billion on their militaries last year, more than China ($336 billion) or Russia ($190 billion).
They've also agreed to build up their own defense industries and cut their dependence on U.S. weapons.
But for Washington, there’s a downside: an ally that can defend itself doesn’t have to say YES as often.
And we've already had a preview.
The U.S. and Israel attacked Iran without consulting or even warning Europe, and Europe largely stayed out of the war.
Britain briefly refused U.S. aircraft access to a base, and EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas flatly said, "This is not the European Union's war."
Europe then started putting together a 40-member coalition to secure the Strait of Hormuz, WITHOUT Washington. And Washington noticed.
A Pentagon questionnaire reportedly asked allies whether they publicly back U.S. Middle East policy and whether they restricted base access during the war.
Hegseth even warned of consequences for those who did.
And it doesn't stop at Iran. When Trump threatened tariffs over Greenland, Europe threatened massive retaliation, and he backed down.
Europe is also toughening up on China just as Washington tries to ease tensions with Beijing.
So here's the BIG question: does a stronger Europe mean a stronger NATO, or an ally that negotiates instead of nodding along?
Washington wanted Europe to pay its own way, but it may not have priced in Europe wanting a say too.
