This life is truly fleeting.
Yesterday, a respected elder in our community and I prayed Maghrib together; he was right beside me in the masjid. After the prayer we exchanged greetings, and he asked about my mother’s health. Moments after we left the mosque, a motorcycle hit him in front of the Mosque as he was crossing the road. He was rushed to the hospital and died there a few hours later.

We are about to perform his Janazah now.

May Allah forgive Alhaji Mukhtar Usman and grant him Jannah.
