You think pregnancy and house chores are nothing? Then start outsourcing them first.

My landlord used to be friendly. Always greeting me. Always smiling.
Then one day he started getting too comfortable.
He said: “You’re a beautiful girl. Why are you living alone?”
I said: “Because I like peace.”
He laughed.
A few days later, he came to my door with that fake “checking on you” excuse.
He said: “I can take care of you, you know.”
I smiled and said: “No thank you.”
He looked shocked. Like he expected me to start kneeling.
After that day, his attitude changed.
The next month he called me and said: “Rent has increased.”
INCREASED??
I said: “Why?”
He said: “Inflation.”
Inflation?? In this building with leaking taps?
I knew immediately. It wasn’t inflation.
It was rejection tax.
So I told him: “No problem. I’ll move.”
Suddenly he started panicking.
“No no, we can talk about it.”
I said: “No need. I don’t negotiate with emotional landlords.”
Two weeks later I moved out.
And the peace I felt? Amazing.
Because a man who punishes you for rejecting him is a dangerous man.
