Happy Father’s Day to my Dad. We were never a team but I wish I got more time to be with you. I hope heaven gives you more chances than earth ever did.
Some of you are really nice to men but will never extend such grace to your female friends. You’ll forgive a man that serially cheats on you but cut off your friend for the slightest reason. Do better fr
Nigeria remains a crazy place because it doesn’t matter who employs you. Man, woman, chicken. How can you tell your employer to “go home”? This audacity is high on premium Dutch Sativa.
It may seem hard to believe when you hear it, but is a common reality for women in Nigeria & I am sure the ladies in the comment section will have more stories to share.

Just watched Blink Twice and I am convinced that women need to befriend the entire staff. I mean more than usual. Be kind to the waiters, the maids, the house keeping staff because they just might save your life.
I know everyone will hate me for saying this, but single girls approaching 30… are single for a REASON.
99% of the time they have character flaws that repel good men.
And when you point them out, they just go “well, they should just love me and accept me for me!”
It’s sad.
My attention has been drawn to the media interview of the speaker of the Niger state house of Assembly, Barr. Abdulmalik Sarkindaji, concerning the marriage plans of 100 orphan girls
I have been in touch with the speaker, the local government chairman, some of the girls, the Governor of the state, and other traditional and religious stakeholders on this issue.
I offered to empower these girls and also capture them in federal government programs which was communicated to the speaker and the local government chairman.
The speaker through his media interviews has successfully instigated traditional and religious leaders against the federal government's position on underaged marriage in our child rights Act 2003.
The President, on Monday, launched a campaign to promote inclusive education, skill development, and gender equity. The campaign tagged, #WeAreEqual, is an initiative of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD). The campaign has been launched in 15 African countries in different iterations, focusing on health, education, economic empowerment, and gender-based violence.
The Niger State Imam Forum has vowed to go aheadwith the marriage plan on grounds that it-did not contravene any sections of the Nigerian constitution and teachings of Islam.
My team have been to Bobi , shadadi and Banji communities in Mariga local government Niger state where the orphans lives and we discovered that some of the orphans are under aged and dropped out of school at JSS 3 and SS 1
The speaker in his interview stated that his children are in the best private schools in Minna while he wants to marry of underaged orphans of the poor people.
My advice to the speaker is to marry off his underaged girls before conducting the mass marriage of underaged orphans.
I am not against conducting marriage for orphans above 18 years of age if they give their consent to the marriage but I am against underaged marriage.
Let children be children
When senior state officials hide under the cloak of religion or culture to embark on policies and programs that exploit the economically handicapped, increase poverty, and deepen ignorance, they are only fueling the prevailing inequality and weaponizing poverty in our country.

Get guys I just visited Susan, and she is doing well. Please allow her the time and space to heal. She needs all the love and support we can provide.
Susan has raised enough money to cover her immediate needs, but she will require guidance when everything settles down. Until then, we @visitahospital will monitor her progress to ensure she is healing properly.
Please, I beg you, let’s spare just one minute to raise awareness about this. These girls should not have to suffer this fate because they lost their parents. It’s so so wicked and dehumanising.

What I want and hope to see more of is women keeping their surnames and having their children bear them too, not just the fathers own. That should be the norm, heck if anyone “deserves” to have their name passed along it’s the mothers after all the labour of bearing the children
