Program Spotlight: Eastern Kentucky University

The Eastern Kentucky University hockey team (@EKUhockey) is the newest member of the College Hockey South conference, and will play in the D3 Division for the 2023-24 season.

The EKU hockey team originally joined the conference for the 2021-22 season, but before the season started, the team was forced to cease operations by the school. The team worked diligently to get the program back on track and was approved by EKU to resume operations for the 2023-24 season.

The Colonels play at the Lexington Ice Center in Lexington, KY. The team looks to continue its upward trajectory the program was working towards 2 years ago.
