Just like the past two years, this year promises to bring numerous challenges to our sector.
Our voices work better when they are together. Consider joining the Human Services Chamber of Hamilton County in 2022.

Today our experts in the @HSCofHamCo are sharing with other members how to best work with Cincinnati’s burgeoning and ever-growing immigrant and refugee population. We must refine our approach to embracing our newest neighbors.
Proud of my role helping to coordinate Hamilton County’s COAD (community organizations active in disaster).
It is important to be ready way before you need to be ready.
The @HSCofHamCo wants to be ready.
The @HSCofHamCo City Council Candidate forum is packed with your Region’s nonprofit CEOs and guests.
Thank you to all of the candidates for showing up or having a representative here!
I will try and add responses from candidates to this thread.
Who is on city council matters to our members. We have a housing crisis, rampant poverty, & an influx of inmigrants.
Be sure to check the pic below to see where you can vote early in this important election this Nov.
This mornong the @HSCofHamCo will be hosting a Cincinnati City Council Candidate Forum.
The questions for the forum are derived from our 3 subcommittees of our broader Policy Committee: Affordable Housing, New Americans, and Local Gov’t Funding.
The questions are below:
Great minority-owned business presentation with @HSCofHamCo today! We are proud to highlight the work of these companies. Even prouder our membership contracts with more and more minority-owned businesses.
Honored to be serving on the host committee for Valley Interfaith’s luncheon this week.
Valley is a valued member of @HSCofHamCo.
They do such important work in our Region.
Happy to say the Immigrant and Refugee Law Center joined @HSCofHamCo! This is timely as we just launched a New Americans Committee to push for immigrant-friendly policy locally.
IRLC provides accessible legal services to immigrant & refugee families in Greater Cincinnati area.
So happy to annoynce that @StarfireCincy just joined @HSCofHamCo!!!
I have *long* admired and supported Starfire personally, so this is just great.
Starfire “empowers leaders to build community and inclusion alongside people with developmental disabilities.”
A great group.
Welcome to the Human Services Chamber of Hamilton County, @cincinnatimetro!!!
So many of our community members who interact with our agencies *rely* on you. We
are looking forward to working together on moving Hamilton County FORWARD!
If you work with me, then you have communicated with Hannah Wiegmann to get a mtg, schedule coffee, or respond to a survey, etc. I would not be 1/10th as productive w/o this amazing woman. Sadly, we don’t get to hang often as she lives in Indy, but today we got to hang out!
