Year 6 science morning was amazing. Students had plenty of fun, they all had the chance to experience chemical reactions, static electricity, Bunsen burners and sparklers. Big thank you to all of the primary schools that turned up. (1)

Competition answers should be emailed to [email protected] or you can bring in a piece of paper to the science department with your name and tutor group on with the answers.
The box shall be given out next Friday. In the event of a draw the winner shall be drawn at random.

Competition :- To name as many scientific pieces of equipment attached to the Christmas tree, the person with the highest number of correctly identified pieces of equipment shall win a selection box.

Many congratulations to our Year 11 students on collecting some fantastic GCSE Results this morning.
The staff wish all the students good luck with the next stage of their education/training and we look forward to working with all those who are continuing at HSLC 6th Form.
Mr Brown's year 8's have been investigating the affects of acid rain on rocks. They have written and sent letters to President Trump to advise him on which rock he should use to build his wall. Well done to all students involved.
