Come say hello if you make the event!
Another athlete informal objection has been filed to the House v. NCAA docket, this time by former Texas A&M football player Kwame Etwi.
Etwi is objecting to the way that BNIL damages are to be calculated under the settlement proposal's terms.

It is firing season in many sports. If you are unsure of a connection's status - check in. If their head coach got let go - check in. If they got let go themselves - check in.
Ppl may not be able to get back to you right away but taking the first step will always be appreciated!

Force plate software is the control panel for human movement.
Similar to a control panel on a car, it lets you know when your tire pressure is low, when your engine needs checked, etc.
It doesn’t tell you how to drive the car.
Unreal performance by @AggieFootball and also the 12th Man last night.
I have seen / heard plenty of noise from the Kyle Field faithful before but I think the bar has been set higher still!
We are heartbroken over the passing of Coach Abdur-Rahim.
A tremendous man & leader with an infectious personality that was a shining light to all he encountered.
Our thoughts & prayers are with his family, friends and everyone that he left a lasting impact on.
I've seen a lot of chatter recently about working in sports. Like any industry, everyone's experience is unique, but here's some perspective I've gained over the years:
Bosses make your experience, not the logo. Bad bosses can 100% break you in sports.
Intentionality with your personal time & boundaries matters. No one will make space for hobbies & your relationships if you don't.
Whether we like it or not, we all spend a lot of our lives working (in sports or not). I feel lucky to enjoy what I do.
Long hours aren't exclusive to sports, but the constant weekend work and 'always on' mentality is different than other industries. You need to be comfortable with the rhythm and pace that comes with it.
Your early years play a big role in your growth trajectory. Build relationships, hone your growth & develop good habits.
There are so many opportunities people never consider in sports because they want the shiny object. Be open, and you might be surprised.
Yes, you will make sacrifices, but you shouldn't have to sacrifice your life. It's important to understand the difference.
It's a lifestyle, but a great one for the right person. If you want a job you can turn off, though, this isn't it.
We work in sports. It should be fun. Period.
