@jrmamana I'd say Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd had "broken through" in 1967! (Check out interviews with other artists at the time, you get the sense Pink Floyd was a pretty hyped-up band then who were doing 'psychedelia' 'right'). Btwn '68-'72 I guess ppl lost interest a bit

@FrankieInVegas @DavidDeutschOxf I can understand maybe people have interpreted Popper as supporting/implying support for an open borders policy (perhaps based on title of book?) but I dont think its the case he did so I wouldnt use that to criticise him. Would be interested to hear if he did though

@FrankieInVegas @DavidDeutschOxf I understand your point in theory but to focus on what Popper said, I don’t recall him saying/implying much either way wth rgrds to borders. The book doesn’t touch much on specific political policies ie. immigration control, more history of ideas.
