A fabulous day with a real life artist from the Hepworth Gallery. We learnt so much about sculptures, practised so many skills, challenged ourselves, used our imagination and creativity!

Ellie in year 3 made her own sculptures at home as part of her homework project. She was inspired by ‘The family of Man’ sculptures by Barbara Hepworth which can be found and explored at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park! What a super star! Well done Ellie 🤩

We enjoyed our own art gallery this afternoon. We explored different images of Barbara Hepworth’s sculptures. We are all really excited about our art topic this half term and making our own sculptures!
