This afternoon in our Come and See lesson, the children have been making mirrors to bring home to remember the special words - βYou are precious to me. I have called you by your name. You are my child.β #HTAComeandSee
We have finished healthy week by talking about taking care of teeth. We discussed milk teeth, food and drink that are bad for our teeth, going to the dentist and of course the tooth fairy. We have written instructions to ensure everyone knows how to brush their teeth. #HTAAspires
Today F1 and F2 have been talking about healthy eating. We have looked at the, βEat well plate,β made food out of playdough and drawn different foods onto different plates depending on whether we could eat lots, some or not a lot. #HTAAspires
F2 have really enjoyed all the healthy week activities so far. We have acted out being safe on the roads, we drew things that made us happy and practised our mindful breathing and made our own water safety posters. Looking forward to the rest of the week. #HTAAspires
We are busy learning all about birds this week in school. We have been reading bird poems, using the internet to find out bird facts and then using our phonics to write our own labels for the different features of a bird. I wonder how many birds you can spot at home?#HTAScience
Weβve been making sure we wash our hands properly in F2 to make sure we get rid of as many germs as possible. We have made signs to remind ourselves to wash our hands.
F2 had a fantastic visit to the Newark library yesterday as part of our World Book Week. We had a tour of the library and listened to one of our favourite stories - βRoom on the broom.β We then used our new library cards to borrow one book each to take home.
In F2 we are trying to make sure we keep to our Lent promises that we have made. The children have hung their promises to our class prayer trees to help them remember. #HTARE

F2 have been keeping an eye on our cress seeds that we planted for our growing investigation. We have been looking to see if our predictions are correct so far as to whether the seeds need sun and water to grow.
Weβve had a wonderful afternoon celebrating two weddings in EYFS. Father Michael married two couples in the Church and then we went back to our classroom for a party with cake, dancing and the throwing of the bouquet #HTAAspire#HTAComeandsee
