A spectacular vision of cosmic creation, this image showcases the Orion Nebula's vibrant heart, where stars are birthed in a celestial dance. Captured through a meticulous stitch of three full-size frames with the Hubble Optics HNA18 hyperbolic optics. 'Still amazed using a full-frame sensor, stars are still sharp out to the corners.'
I personally want to acknowledge @peachastro and @tw__astro and others for their conscious ongoing effort to keep Planetary imaging safe and true to its core values. Thank them when possible people, trust me on this.

M42 with the 24" in Bortle 1/2 skies, watch the video if you want to see how we got this from stacking 229 images at 290ms exp = 66 seconds of actual light hitting the sensor 🤔

"I took several pictures with my Nikon D3300 focused at infinity, held up to the 38mm eyepiece installed on my UL16 (afocal photography). It's sharp enough that my daughter just ordered a 23" x 23" glass print of this image for me as a Christmas present! ..." -David Anschutz
The totally eclipsed Moon captured with UL16 from the cruise ship, the Holland America Noordam, berthed at Brisbane, Australia on November 8, 2022. -David Anschutz

Being in the right place at the right time is half the battle #Astrophotography#astronomy#telescope@HubbleOptics 24" UL Dobsonian
Out with the 24" UL. ......
0° temperature "feels like rating is -4°" , for my US friends 32°F and feels like 24°f not very pleasant.
For science 🥶 #Astrophotography#astronomy#telescope
Hi friends, while the 24" is out today is there anything anyone would like to see. I am going to do a couple of videos to post on YouTube about it, so while I am out there doing that it would be easy to do a little more. #Astrophotography#astronomy#telescope
