It's Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month
Some team members are taking part in Walk In Her Name
On Tuesday we wore blue to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and to support teammates who are walking 100km this month

Supporting each other is important. Here’s what one teammate had to say:
“This is not a team. This is my tribe and they have my back on and off the pitch, through my good, bad, the ugly and the glory.”
She inspires us all to grow and become the best version of ourselves. She helps us to love and accept who we are because she preaches that its okay to be beautifully imperfect.”
Here’s another teammate on how we inspire each other
“Our coach is more than our coach. She is our biggest cheerleader, our shoulder to cry on, our friend, mentor and teacher.
From day one, I've always felt welcome and part of the team. I've made some good friends , and my fitness levels are growing along with my confidence of the game.”
Here’s one of our teammates on why they come to training:
“As a 50 year old, with years of neglect to my health sofa surfing, when I saw Jess's advert I was like THIS IS WHAT I NEED...!
I came to bootcamp with my sister not knowing what to expect and loved it. I loved to be out meeting new people whilst improving my fitness levels.
I'm not the fastest runner, or the most confident of players, but I'm always there to support both on and off the field.
