Parker Kern (@parkerkern23 ) is quickly becoming one of those guards that opponents have to account for every second he is on the floor. The skilled playmaker has evolved into a dangerous offensive weapon capable of hurting defenses in multiple ways. His ability to stretch the floor with his shooting, attack gaps off the bounce, and create opportunities for teammates makes him a difficult matchup because there is no easy answer. Defenders who focus on taking away his scoring often find themselves watching him pick apart the defense with sweet dimes, while those who play for the pass risk getting burned by his ability to score in bunches.

His production backs it all up. During the spring with Indiana Elite, Parker averaged 8.2 points, 5.2 assists, and 1.7 steals per game while shooting a blistering 41.5 percent from beyond the arc. As school ball rolled into June, his offensive game exploded to another level, averaging 22.5 points per game while shooting an eye-popping 48 percent from three-point range to go along with 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds. The jump in scoring showed a player becoming more aggressive and confident without sacrificing the playmaking ability that helped establish his reputation in the first place.

What makes Parker stand out is the combination of feel, vision, and shot-making ability. He processes the game at a high level, consistently makes smart reads, and understands how to keep defenses off balance. The shooting forces defenders to extend, the handles allow him to get downhill, and the passing punishes help defenders who rotate too late. That complete offensive package has transformed him from a reliable facilitator into a player capable of taking control of a game whenever the opportunity presents itself.
