Hudson's own Johnny's Diner feaured on Fox 8 today. Restaurant owners looking forward to reopening, awaiting more details from state https://t.co/l2lDu47SG5
Hudson Phase 2 development: "How 'bout them apples?" May be time to consider planting those apple orchard saplings now after recent Council decisions on dumping the developer and not buying Windstream property. We may get in a few harvests before any dirt is moved on P2!
I've been involved on both sides of the interview process for the Hudson Charter Review Commission, and I have to say this time certainly seems to be more politicized than in the past. I wonder what "forward-thinking" concepts are being cooked up for voters to consider this fall?
GOODBYE TO "https://t.co/crElRaD9x8" -anyone else notice that corp parent Gatehouse has decamped the url https://t.co/NyWd2NiJbJ from Akron Beacon Journal. Obviously in this digital age that web address was too valuable for Akron, likely taking it to Cols. for use by Dispatch.
City of Cuyahoga Falls to offer free childcare during city council meetings https://t.co/pmv9kqmt9r via @fox8news May be a solution for potential board members with family confiicts as well? We should monitor this and see if it would work for Hudson.
@mattselker @jimstifler Any City of Hudson employee (or elected official, for that matter) that feels the responsibility of being accountable to taxpayers through their elected Council is "debilitating" is free to leave.
"Government can be debilitating but this project has been energizing with #icf & #ICFTop7 peers." #jimstifler@CityofHudsonOH#ICFSummit
Collaborative competition of #icf pushes communities forward- together
@AnnT@CityofHudsonOH Just rest assured when they are on stage in NYC they are not necessarily speaking for Hudson govt.. ..at least the elected, responsible part
A suggestion from a public comment may save a life. 5/21 Hudson City Council thanks resident Michelle Ciancio for her proposal that led to the community donations & installation of 7 AEDs at our public parks. AEDs double the chance of survival of an unprecipitated cardiac event.
Letter of support for my "No" stance on Issue 11 in today's @hudsonhubtimes. Thanks for the encouraging words, Molly & John Logan. Coming from a former Hudson Councilman, it means a lot!
@Tonyhavlicek It's not my intention to undermine public trust in Council or local govt. It's needed-it has many beneficial functions. But the public has a role as well to keep govt accountable, & part of that role is voting. You get a rare chance to weigh in on P2. Please use it! Vote on 5/7!
"HHT: Costs increase on new HQ as Hudson eyes fall transition" Funny how not many seem bothered much by a 100% cost overrun of $1.5 million from 2018 estimate, but an extra $10k for another month of rent is suddenly a cause for much fiscal concern. https://t.co/DigXXFJdQo
Seeing all those banners reminds me of an earlier post. Still holds up today.
How “Smart” are we, anyway? Are Concerned Citizens really "Barriers to Progress"? https://t.co/i4lSa01O6Y … …
