@augustradjoe The point here is, you moved rather than staying back and trying to find those things back in India. That's no different than people venting out their frustration on social media when they don't get a seat even after scoring very good marks.
@augustradjoe For a country of 1.3 Bil, having a handful of good universities is laughable. And you reserve 50+% of those seats to non-merit quota. No wonder why many (including you) move to other countries.
@Abhinavmir I heard that Prime Video & Alexa were ideas of L6 PMs at Amazon and were led by them. I'm sure there would be a lot more small features that these folks helped build.
@Helth_z_Wealth Yup, people working in tech do get.
Think about people who have gone to the US after graduation. From my exp, each one of them owns 2-3 properties back home by the time they are 30-34.
@Helth_z_Wealth Urban upper middle class from decent colleges working in Big Tech/ Startups as Developers or Mid level managers. Average salaries in IITs are still around 8-10LPA.
Regardless, people will always take loans and buy an apartment even if they couldn't afford it.
@WeekendInvestng The average salary of indian diaspora in US is close to $100k.
Less probability of earning 25lks here. More probability of earning $100k there.
