التقى سعادة السفير الدكتور خالد الغيث، الأمين العام للجنة العليا للأخوة الإنسانية، بسعادة السفير ديفيد فرنانداز بويانا، المراقب الدائم لجامعة السلام التابعة للأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية الأخرى في جنيف، وذلك في 3 يونيو 2026.وبحث اللقاء سبل التعاون لتعزيز الأخوة الإنسانية والتفاهم المتبادل والتعايش، مع تسليط الضوء على الالتزام المشترك بين اللجنة العليا للأخوة الإنسانية وجامعة السلام بالنهوض بالتعليم والحوار وتمكين الشباب كركائز أساسية لبناء عالم أكثر تناغماً.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Khalid Al-Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF), met with H.E. Ambassador David Fernandez Puyana, Permanent Observer of the University for Peace (UPEACE) to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, on June 3, 2026.

The meeting explored avenues of cooperation in advancing human fraternity, mutual understanding and coexistence, highlighting the shared commitment of HCHF and UPEACE to advancing education, dialogue, and youth empowerment as essential pillars for a more harmonious world.

قابل سعادة السفير الدكتور خالد الغيث، الأمين العام للجنة العليا للأخوة الإنسانية، سعادة أحمد ساري المزروعي، الأمين العام لهيئة الهلال الأحمر الإماراتي، بهدف تفعيل مذكرة التفاهم واستكشاف سبل التعاون لتعزيز قيم الأخوة الإنسانية والمشاركة المجتمعية والتضامن، بما يسهم في توطيد العلاقات بين الجانبين ويمهّد الطريق لإطلاق مبادرات مشتركة ذات أثر إيجابي.

His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Khaled Al Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, met with His Excellency Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority , with the aim of activating the memorandum of understanding and exploring avenues of cooperation to promote the values of human fraternity, community engagement, and solidarity. The meeting also sought to strengthen relations between the two sides and pave the way for launching joint initiatives with a positive impact.

عقد سعادة خالد الغيث الأمين العام للجنه العليا للأخوة الإنسانية سلسله من الزيارات و الاجتماعات في بيروت في اطار الاحتفال باليوم العالمي للأخوة الإنسانية في لبنان. كالاتي:
١- زيارة دير القلعة الاثري و لقاء رئيس الدير المدبر العام الاب بشارة إيليا
٢- زيارة المعهد الفني الانطوني و لقاء مدير المعهد الاب شربل بو عبود
٣. لقاء رئيس اللجنة الأسقفية للحوار المسيحي الإسلامي المطران شارل مراد
٤. زيارة المقر العام للرهبانية الأنطونية المارونية و لقاء المدبر العام الاب بطرس عازار
٥. .زيارة شيخ عقل طائفة الموحدين الدروز الدكتور سامي ابو المنى

تم خلال اللقاءات الترحيب بسعادته والوفد المرافق له وتبادل الآراء حول سبل تعزيز وتطبيق قيم الأخوة الإنسانية وتم التأكيد على اهمية الإستمرارية في تعزيز قيم الأخوة والتسامح والتعايش بين جميع فئات المجتمع لتحقيق التنمية والرخاء والاستقرار

H.E. Khalid Al Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, conducted a series of visits and meetings in Beirut as part of the celebrations of the International Day of Human Fraternity in Lebanon, as follows:

1- A visit to the historic Deir El Kalaa Monastery and a meeting with the Monastery’s President and General Administrator, Father Beshara Elia
2- A visit to the Antonine Art Institute and a meeting with the Director of the Institute, Father Charbel Bou Abboud
3- A meeting with the President of the Episcopal Committee for Christian–Muslim Dialogue, Bishop Charle Mourad
4- A visit to the General Headquarters of the Antonine Maronite Order and a meeting with the General Administrator, Father Boutros Azar
5- A visit to the Druze Sheikh Akl, H.E. Dr. Sami Abu Al Muna

During these meetings, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were warmly welcomed, and exchanged views on ways to enhance and implement the values of human fraternity. The discussions also emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen the principles of fraternity, tolerance, and coexistence among all segments of society to achieve development, prosperity, and stability.

قام سعادة / خالد الغيث الأمين العام والوفد المرافق له بزياره المعهد الفني الأنطوني في لبنان بدعوه من مدير المعهد الأب شربل بو عبود. تم خلال الزيارة التعرف على الأقسام الفنية في المعهد وورش التعليم والتدريب الفني كما تم اطلاعه على العديد من اللوحات الفنية تنوعت ما بين لوحات الموزاييك والألوان بأنواعها والرسم على الزجاج والبورسلين والخشب وغيرها ، يهدف المعهد الأنطوني على ان يحافظ على استمرارية الفنون القديمة وتعليمها للأجيال الجديدة.

His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Khalid Al Ghaith, Secretary-General, along with the accompanying delegation, visited the Antonine art Institute in Lebanon upon the invitation of the Institute’s Director, Father Charbel Bou Abboud. During the visit, they were introduced to the institute’s artistic departments, as well as its technical education and training workshops. The delegation was also briefed on a wide range of artworks, including mosaics, various painting techniques, and artistic works on glass, porcelain, wood, and other materials. The Antonine Institute aims to preserve the continuity of traditional arts and pass them on to new generations.

أطلقت اللجنة العليا للأخوة الإنسانية فعالية «الأخوة الإنسانية كأساس لمستقبل مشترك» في بيروت، إحياءً لليوم الدو��ي للأخوة الإنسانية وبمشاركة قيادات دينية وفكرية وأكاديمية من لبنان وخارجه. شكّل اللقاء منصة جامعة لتعزيز الحوار بين الأديان والثقافات وترسيخ قيم التعايش والسلام المستلهمة من وثيقة أبوظبي للأخوة الإنسانية. وأكد سعادة السفير خالد الغيث، الأمين العام للجنة العليا للأخوة الإنسانية، أن الأخوة الإنسانية مسؤولية عملية تُترجم عبر التعليم وتمكين الشباب والابتكار والشراكات الدولية، فيما شدّد معالي أحمد بن محمد الجروان، رئيس المجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام، على أهمية دور لبنان كمساحة للسلام والعيش المشترك، وضرورة دعم المبادرات الإنسانية لترسيخ الاستقرار وتعزيز رسالة المحبة والسلام.

The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity launched the event “Human Fraternity as a Foundation for a Shared Future” in Beirut, marking the International Day of Human Fraternity and bringing together religious, intellectual, and academic leaders from Lebanon and abroad. The gathering served as a platform to strengthen interfaith dialogue and promote the values of coexistence and peace inspired by the Abu Dhabi Document on Human Fraternity. H.E. Ambassador Khalid Al Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, emphasized that human fraternity is a practical responsibility translated through education, youth empowerment, innovation, and international partnerships. Meanwhile, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, highlighted Lebanon’s role as a space for peace and shared coexistence and stressed the importance of supporting humanitarian initiatives to reinforce stability and promote a message of love and peace.

نظّمت اللجنة العليا للأخوة الإنسانية، بالتعاون مع الرهبانية الأنطونية المارونية، واللجنة الأسقفية للحوار المسيحي–الإسلامي في لبنان، والمجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام، لقاءً للأخوّة الإنسانية في بيروت. وسلّط البرنامج الضوء على الحوار بين الأديان، وترسيخ القيم الأخلاقية في التعليم، وتمكين الشباب، ودور الابتكار والإعلام في تعزيز التماسك المجتمعي. وفي كلمته، أكّد سعادة السفير الدكتور خالد الغيث أن الأخوّة الإنسانية مسؤولية أخلاقية تُترجم إلى مبادرات عملية مستلهمة من وثيقة أبوظبي للأخوة الإنسانية، مع التركيز على أثر السياسات، والتعليم، والإعلام والتكنولوجيا المسؤولة، وتمكين الأجيال القادمة لبناء عالم أكثر احترامًا ووحدة.

The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, in cooperation with the Antonine Maronite Order, the Episcopal Committee for Christian–Muslim Dialogue in Lebanon, and the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, organized a Human Fraternity gathering in Beirut. The program highlighted interfaith dialogue, ethics in education, youth empowerment, and the role of innovation and media in strengthening social cohesion. In his remarks, H.E. Ambassador Dr. Khalid Al Ghaith emphasized that human fraternity is a moral responsibility translated into practical initiatives inspired by the Abu Dhabi Document, focusing on policy impact, education, responsible media and technology, and empowering future generations to build a more respectful and united world.

وسلّط النقاش الضوء على أهمية التعاون بين المجتمعات الدينية، والدور الحيوي للقيادات الدينية في بناء جسور التفاهم، إلى جانب الالتزام المشترك بصون الكرامة الإنسانية وتعزيز التعايش السلمي في مختلف أنحاء العالم.

His Beatitude and Eminence Cardinal Bechara Boutros Al Rahi, Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, received the Secretary General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity at the official headquarters of the Maronite Patriarchate in Lebanon for a meaningful meeting focused on advancing human fraternity and strengthening dialogue rooted in mutual respect among all peoples. The discussion highlighted the importance of cooperation between faith communities, the vital role of religious leadership in building bridges of understanding, and a shared commitment to upholding human dignity and promoting peaceful coexistence across the world.

ستستضيف العاصمة اللبنانية بيروت، في 17 فبراير 2026، لقاءً رفيع المستوى بعنوان «الأخوة الإنسانية أساس لمستقبل مشترك»، بمشاركة نخبة من القيادات الدينية والفكرية والأكاديمية من لبنان وخارجه. ويُنظَّم هذا الحدث من قبل اللجنة العليا للأخوة الإنسانية بالتعاون مع الرهبانية الأنطونية المارونية واللجنة الأسقفية للحوار المسيحي–الإسلامي في لبنان، وذلك إحياءً لليوم الدولي للأخوة الإنسانية وتعزيزاً لقيم التعايش والسلام والحوار بين الأديان.

ومن المقرر أن تُلقى الكلمات الرسمية من قبل سعادة السفير الدكتور خالد الغيث، الأمين العام للجنة العليا للأخوة الإنسانية؛ وسيادة المطران شارل مراد، رئيس اللجنة الأسقفية للحوار المسيحي–الإسلامي في لبنان؛ ومعالي أحمد بن محمد الجروان، رئيس المجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام، إلى جانب عدد من المتحدثين البارزين.

Beirut will host a high-level gathering on 17 February 2026 titled “Human Fraternity as a Foundation for a Shared Future,” bringing together religious, intellectual, and academic leaders from Lebanon and abroad. The event is organized by the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity in cooperation with the Antonine Maronite Order and the Episcopal Committee for Christian-Muslim Dialogue in Lebanon, marking the International Day of Human Fraternity and promoting coexistence, peace, and interfaith dialogue. Official remarks will be delivered by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Khalid Al Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity; His Excellency Bishop Charbel Mourad, President of the Episcopal Committee for Christian-Muslim Dialogue in Lebanon; and H.E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, and together with other renowned speakers.This gathering highlights HCHF’s role as a platform for dialogue, partnerships and cooperation for human fraternity.

وقّعت اللجنة العليا للأخوة الإنسانية وجامعة محمد بن زايد للعلوم الإنسانية، على هامش الاحتفال باليوم الدولي للأخوة الإنسانية في قصر الأمم المتحدة بجنيف، اتفاقية تعاون علمي لإنشاء مركز بحثي متخصص في الأخوة الإنسانية. وتهدف الاتفاقية إلى تعزيز البحث العلمي المشترك، وإطلاق منصات أكاديمية ومؤتمرات وبرامج تدريبية تدعم قيم التعايش والسلام والحوار. وأكد سعادة الدكتور خالد الغيث أن الاتفاقية تمثل خطوة نوعية لتحويل مبادئ الأخوة الإنسانية إلى مشاريع علمية مستدامة، فيما أوضح سعادة الدكتور محمد الهاملي أن المركز سيعزز الدراسات المتخصصة ويسهم في إعداد كوادر بحثية تدعم ثقافة الحوار والانفتاح.

The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity and Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities signed a scientific cooperation agreement on the sidelines of the International Day of Human Fraternity celebration at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, aimed at establishing a specialized Human Fraternity Research Center. The agreement seeks to enhance joint research, develop academic platforms, and organize conferences and training programs that promote the values of coexistence, peace, and dialogue. H.E. Dr. Khalid Al Ghaith described the agreement as a qualitative step toward transforming the principles of human fraternity into sustainable scientific initiatives, while H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al Hamli emphasized that the center will strengthen specialized studies and contribute to preparing research leaders who advance a culture of dialogue and openness.
