In the bustling lanes of Chennai, a worried mother from the North clutched her son Suraj’s hand.

“Beta, don’t go alone in this city. It's not safe in Chennai" she begged, her voice trembling with fear.

But an urgent work call pulled him away. On the train to Tiruttani, he spotted young Tamil boys filming reckless reels, machetes gleaming for likes.

Uncomfortable, he politely requested them to stop.

Their laughter turned to fury. They dragged him off, slashed him mercilessly, filming his agony for viral fame. Blood soaked the ground as life faded.

Hours later, the doorbell rang. His mother rushed, heart pounding with a hope that her son is back safely.

Nasir Hussain (21) created a fake website impersonating the Kollur Mookambika mandir to defraud devotees through online bookings in Udupi, KA.

Devotees booked rooms and services via the fraudulent site.

Upon arrival at the mandir, the scam was detected, prompting the temple's executive officer to file a complaint.

Udupi police investigated, traced and arrested Nasir in Rajasthan and brought him to Karnataka.
