Wow, 5 years ago on Father's Day I decided to take a leap of faith. I had no idea what I was doing, but I knew that I just wanted to share the love of God. I have grown so much through these last 5 years & have enjoyed this community! Love y'all #MyTwitterAnniversary
You want to know the secret to hearing God's voice?
Pursue a relationship with Him by reading the Bible, praying, and spending time in worship
The more you put into the relationship, the more you will get out
if you can't praise God in private when no one is watching, you won't be able to praise Him in public when everyone is watching!
get alone w/ God & let your relationship w/ Him start there.
don't inform everyone about everything God is doing they'll eventually see the fruit.
Yes!!
Stop making the excuse that Godly relationships don’t exist. Stop believing that your man or woman isn’t coming so you should settle. Stop letting your boyfriend/girlfriend have marriage privileges because you think “no” or “let’s wait” is outdated.
Dating His way 👌🏼 https://t.co/Nlm9Z6PH6R
Less “talking” more dating. Less hooking up, more hand holding. Less playing games, more pursuit. Less selfishness, more selflessness. Less screen time, more quality time. Less of the world, more of God.
This is what modern relationships need still need. Share if you agree ♥️
"Walking around these walls
I thought by now they'd fall
But You have never failed me yet"
These lyrics from “Do it Again” hit me hard. So often I get frustrated because I don’t see walls broken down, but guess what? He hasn’t failed. He’s faithful, we just need to keep walking
God is not bound by our time. He may show up in crazy ways and answer prayers faster than you expected, or you could be waiting for years and frustrated at Him because He isn’t doing what you wanted.
Regardless of how you view it, God is always on time.
Don’t worry, trust Him
I met two guys my age (21!!) this last week who admitted to writing letters to their future wives. My heart literally melted when they said that. Sending prayers out to their wives, because these guys are golden and real gems pursuing the Lord.
Dating or even getting married doesn’t magically make you happier or give your life a deeper sense of purpose. Joy and purpose ultimately comes from Jesus, and not anywhere else. Don’t rush to anything besides Jesus, thinking it’ll give you true joy or purpose.
Find the people who want to run with you, not pull you down. We are all out here to get better. And to grow! If that’s not the case, have some conversations & MOVE ON.
A friend told me something that I want to incorporate into my life everyday. He said,
“I want a habitat where the Lord’s presence is always welcome”
That made me think, How often do we place ourselves in situations where God isn’t welcome?
What can we do to welcome Him?
My little rant tonight.
I’m OKAY being single
I’m OKAY with waiting
I’m OKAY because God is enough
I’m at a place where if God had me wait 10 more years, I would tell Him, “Okay, I trust You. Let’s do this.”
