Kaduna State alone is 2 times the size of El Salvador both in land size and population. The complexity of Insecurity in Nigeria is much greater than anyone can imagine. May God bring relief and may the efforts of those truly putting their all yield results. It’ll get better 🙏

You must be completely heartless to come online and post this kind of nonsense when people are hurting. People are worried about their safety and you’re here doing political praise singing.

I’ve already started seeing posts from these animals claiming that people are exploiting insecurity to score cheap political points.

Wallahi I genuinely wish them no well at all. May they, their parents, or their children soon become victims of the very cruelty they defend. Amen

The disturbing video of Ahmed Zakka, reportedly abducted alongside his wife and infant child in Kaduna State, is a painful reminder of the insecurity that continues to threaten lives and tear families apart across Nigeria.

No Nigerian should have to plead for their life or the safety of their family in the hands of criminals. The thought of an infant caught in this ordeal is especially heartbreaking. I urge the relevant security agencies to act swiftly and decisively to secure the safe release of Ahmed Zakka, his wife, their child and every other Nigerian still held in captivity.

This tragedy comes as families are already struggling with the crushing cost of living. Nigerians are battling the rising cost of food, transport and other essentials; they should not also have to live in fear of being abducted in their homes or on the roads. Insecurity deepens hardship, disrupts livelihoods and leaves families bearing both emotional and financial burdens they can scarcely afford.

The government must move beyond assurances and deliver an effective, sustained response: rescue those in captivity, protect vulnerable communities and dismantle the networks responsible for these crimes. Every Nigerian deserves to live, work and raise a family without the constant fear of violence.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Zakka family and all families enduring the trauma of kidnapping. The protection of every Nigerian life must remain an overriding responsibility of government. —AA

Some people are using the kidnapping in Millennium City, Kaduna, to score cheap political points.

It’s as if they’re happy to see people kidnapped just so they can use it as evidence that the government isn’t working.

Human lives should never be reduced to political propaganda. It’s sickening.

VIDEO: Ahmed Zakka, who was abducted in Millennium City, Kaduna, is appealing for help in a heartbreaking video. He is being held alongside his wife and their baby by bandits.

A whole family in captivity, including an innocent baby😭

We hope the authorities and everyone who can help will do everything possible to secure their safe release.
