@FedEx how ridiculous can your delivery drivers be. This was supposed to be delivered today and the driver just took a photo of the door and left. If he could at least be bothered with knocking/come from the main door, we were home and he could have delivered. 886740551634(1/2)

Are security rules different for each airline? Or are people are Vistara more competent or have a different set of checks than Air India. Common sense died a hundred deaths.

Very Important.
It takes more than six months of protests and hell to even get the authorities and government act properly against powerful people.

@FedExIndia @fedex@FedExHelp @FedExIndia I am still waiting for an update yet from the Fedex Team after providing all the documents. It has been 13 days since the package was shipped via International Priority Service and hasn't been delivered yet.
@FedExHelp@fedexhelp India team does not seem to have any information and is harping the standard tune of "we will get back to you" since Monday. as of now, I do not have any help from the India team regarding the delivery of the package.

@SaketGokhale @TribeccaaAngie As fas as that USFDA approval is concerned, does the Ahamdabad firm have it or their American partners. This needs to be checked out. If it's their US partner, that approval is unlikely to cover the kits made by the Ahamdabad unit.
Update: Today after they got caught, the ICMR conducted a press briefing where they said that US FDA/European CE approval is not required for testing kits.
However, here’s Ministry of Health guidelines from Saturday that state otherwise.
Such a lovely u-turn
Why is a Gujarat-based firm being provided a monopoly on Covid-19 testing kits by suddenly tweaking guidelines overnight?
Why are 18 firms who can produce testing kits for very cheap prices being blocked by these sudden new guidelines?
I've filed an RTI to get more info

That means ONLY kits manufactured by Ahmedabad-based CoSara can be used for Covid-19 testing.
So after allowing 18 firms to test their kits for production, the Modi govt. suddenly changed guidelines to favor ONLY 1 Ahmedabad company (whose testing kit cost is unknown).
