Solidarity to the @RMTunion in Leeds campaigning against the loss of staff who keep passengers safe. I planned to join them today but slept past my alarm - a perfect example of why we need alert professionals on the train all day to keep sleepy passengers and others safe.

I'm back from a productive St Lukes TARA as well. I provided some updates on local concerns, improvements and plans. A very productive chat about communications and reaching out to our communities, as well as environmental concerns on the local estates.

I attended my first Strategy and Resources @ScrutinyLeeds meeting today.

This was mainly a procedural meeting to establish the work we'll be doing this year.

Great to hear updates from key officers and Executive Board members.

I'm looking forward to getting stuck in.
